Dragan Popović

Dragan Popović was born in Kraljevo in 1980. He completed his undergraduate and master's studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade and successfully completed his doctoral thesis at the History Department of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. He is a consultant for Serbia of the European Fund for Democracy. He worked in several civil society organizations, including the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in the positions of researcher, program coordinator, program and executive director. He is the founder and director of the Center for Practical Politics and a member of the board of the House of Human Rights in Belgrade. He published a large number of publications, analyzes and reports in the field of human and minority rights, rule of law, European integration and transitional justice. He was a lecturer and trainer at numerous schools, seminars and workshops on the topic of human rights protection, dealing with the past, the history of the SFRY and the rule of law in Serbia and the region.
